LegalEase is not a law firm

LegalEase is an educational software platform. It is not a law firm, does not employ lawyers providing legal advice to users, and does not create a lawyer-client or attorney-client relationship of any kind.

Use of LegalEase does not constitute legal advice. No information, recommendation, guide, or document generated by LegalEase constitutes legal advice specific to your situation.

No attorney-client relationship

By using LegalEase, no attorney-client relationship is created between you and LegalEase or any of its operators, developers, or contributors. The Platform provides educational information and document preparation tools only.

Communications with LegalEase (including through the Contact form) are not protected by attorney-client privilege.

Information is educational and general in nature

All content on LegalEase β€” including guides, explainers, flow questions, recommendations, and generated documents β€” is general and educational in nature. It is not tailored to your specific legal, tax, financial, or business situation.

Laws, regulations, government fees, and filing requirements change regularly. LegalEase makes reasonable efforts to keep content current but does not warrant the completeness or accuracy of any information. Always verify requirements with the relevant government authority before filing.

Consult a qualified professional for your specific situation

You should consult a qualified lawyer or accountant if your situation involves:

  • Multiple founders with complex ownership or equity arrangements
  • Venture capital, angel investment, or institutional financing
  • Cross-border operations, foreign ownership, or international taxation
  • Immigration or work permit implications
  • Securities law requirements or regulated activities
  • Complex share structures or shareholders' agreements
  • Non-profit, charity, or social enterprise structures
  • Any situation where you are uncertain about the legal implications

Government filing fees and third-party fees

Government filing fees quoted on LegalEase are estimates based on currently published rates and may change without notice. All government fees are paid directly to the relevant government authority β€” not to LegalEase.

Registered agent fees, publication fees, NUANS name search fees, lawyer fees, accountant fees, and any other third-party fees are paid directly to those third parties. LegalEase is not responsible for these fees and does not mark them up.

Filing responsibility

LegalEase helps users prepare filing-ready information and understand official government filing processes. LegalEase does not file documents on users' behalf unless explicitly noted in the context of an authorized government integration.

LegalEase is not responsible for errors in government filings that users submit, for rejected filings, for government decisions, or for any consequences arising from a user's filing with a government authority.

No warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" during beta without warranties of any kind, express or implied. LegalEase does not warrant that the Platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose.
