Common Questions
Is the guided education really free?
Yes. You can explore all educational content, comparison tables, videos, and get a recommended path result without paying or even signing up.
What does the government filing fee cover?
Government filing fees go directly to the Ontario Business Registry or Corporations Canada. They are separate from LegalEase's service fee. Ontario: $300 (for-profit), $155 (non-profit). Federal: $200 (for-profit), $250 (non-profit).
Does LegalEase file on my behalf?
LegalEase prepares a filing-ready document package and provides step-by-step filing guidance. We do not submit directly to government registries. We recommend professional review before submission.
When should I get a lawyer?
For standard incorporations with simple share structures, many founders use LegalEase as their complete solution. For complex share arrangements, partnership agreements, IP-heavy businesses, or charity registration, we always recommend consulting a lawyer.
What is the Pro Monthly plan for?
Pro Monthly is for founders or professionals who need ongoing document generation, compliance tracking, and access to the full workspace suite on a subscription basis.
